Preservation North Dakota Announces Affiliate Grant Opportunity Who Is Eligible To Apply: Preservation North Dakota’s local affiliate organizations with restoration projects involving a National Register of Historic Places eligible property. This grant opportunity is ONLY available to current PND affiliate groups. Find out more about being an affiliate by visiting our website. Grant Amount: $2,500.00 is available in the form of a matching grant. Total project should be approximately $5,000.00 or more. This grant requires a 50% match from the local affiliate organization. Match: Qualifying match includes: Volunteer labor, donated supplies/materials, and cash. Applicants will be rated on a well balanced budget for match. How To Apply: A short one page grant application is available from the PND office, please call the eastern office at 701-633-2763 or contact us via the email bentley@prairieplaces.org to request an application package. Deadlines: Grant applications are due in the office by 10am, Thursday August 30, 2007. Grant applications will be reviewed on August 31, 2007. Work may begin as soon as the contract is signed (estimated date - September 7, 2007.) Projects must be completed by November 30, 2007. Final reports with receipts are due in the office no later than 5pm December 15, 2007. The grassroots grant program of Preservation North Dakota is funded in part by the J. M. Kaplan Fund.
