The Artisan Award is awarded to a craftsman who has offered their expertise in a "hands on approach" to historic preservation in North Dakota. Areas of contribution may include: Architecture, Contracting, Roofing, Designing, and other such crafts. The recipient of this award should be honored and respected by those in his/her field and those outside of the field as one who has not only excelled in their profession, but exemplified participation in historic preservation.
Nominations must be submitted by PDF form or online
form. PDF submissions must be typed, and must include written, printed
and photographic documentation as supporting evidence. A minimum of four color
images are required. Documentation materials will not be returned. The selection
of the awards is made by the Preservation North Dakota Awards Committee.
Nominations must be received by September 15.
